Borgo San Lorenzo. About 4 km outside the village, you will find this Resort, built on an ancient monastery, with a restaurant. The location is certainly impressive. Surrounded by the green of the olive trees, and immersed in unspoiled nature, it already has its charm at first sight. But let's get to the restaurant. The outdoor tables, the right distance, and the atmosphere is what you expect. We start with a Tuscan board, with high-quality cold cuts and cheeses. To follow, truffle tagliolini and a saffron and asparagus risotto. To finish, the tiramisu was a must, given the birthday to celebrate. The god Bacchus transformed into a Bolgheri rosé, rich in freshness and savoriness. The tagliolini were "master chef" quality. The dessert, rich, perhaps a bit "heavy" but with ingredients of absolute quality. The table service, discreet but available, with a note of merit to the "polyglot" Simona. It is not an everyday restaurant, but if you pass by there one day, the stop will be worthy of applause. P.S. when the natural sunlight fades, a magic of candlelight takes its place.

Great and relaxing experience. The surroundings are just magical. If you want to resource, forget day to day worries here’s the place. Breakfast and dinner are an outstanding experience

Highly recommend for the overall. Food was great! Staff very professional and friendly. Loved the beauty of the surroundings. Only issue is the spa massage, extremely poor.
