Hotel Alba sul Mare

We book this hotel for 4 nights in August, and it is actually one of the most logistically comfortable hotels in Lido di Camaiore. I state that the cost exceeds 200 euros per night, for a three-star, but given the good reviews and breakfast included we were "conquered". Unfortunately unlike many other reviews we ended up in a room on the edge of decency, very old, ruined, a degradation, even stained and dirty here and there, with air conditioning impossible to use because it seems to have a Boeing taxiing in the room. The bathroom does not comment, speak the photos, a quadruple with a bathroom smaller than a camper, with curtain, shower head and dirty drains. I had to put my legs in the shower so I could sit on the toilet. I repeat, for 200 euros a night. I did not want to complain in person, because in the end we are a family that adapts, but the quality of sleep was bad, with back pain for 4 days. As per the title it is a shame, it is a hotel with so much potential, a good breakfast, friendly staff, but for us it was the worst room in 41 years of Leisure and Business Trips and I wanted (I rarely do) to share my experience.

I had a wonderful stay in this lovely family run hotel, near the beach. They made me feel really welcome and were really kind and helpful when I had a setback in my travels! The price was really good and the room was very nice with an ocean view. They had a really delicious breakfast buffet! I was only planning to stay one night (just traveling through), but ended up staying 4 nights! Gracie Mille, Luca, Monica and Maurizio!! Claudia

I want to recommend this fantastic hotel. We had a lovely weekend there. Unmatched food and friendly staff, clean room, and a fantastic wiew. From all windows you have a wiew to the sea. We enjoyed to stay there, and we will absolute stay at this beautiful hotel again. I just loved the place ❤️
