Basically, the building has everything to be excellent. Nice rooms, great pool. (water could be cleaned a little more intensively) but in the area of hospitality they do drop some stitches. Staff at breakfast are shy but try. The men in the restaurant (by the pool) have a will of their own and the arrogance not to do what their guests ask (e.g. change chairs due to back problems or be a little more active to sell more drinks.) In short, with a little more guidance, something really beautiful can be made of it.

50 Years of Marriage Celebration Perfect organization. Excellent reception from all the staff. Beautiful and well-maintained location, excellent both in presentation and in the quality of food and drinks, both outside and inside. All the participants in the evening were very enthusiastic. So, thanks to all the staff of the '500' for contributing to making this event special, Andrea & Rossella.

★☆☆☆☆ — Extremely Disappointing Stay We stayed at Hotel 500 in June 2026 and cannot recommend it. From the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing. The room and common areas did not meet reasonable standards of cleanliness, and the air conditioning was ineffective during a period of very warm weather. When we raised our concerns with staff, we found them unhelpful and unable or unwilling to escalate the issues to someone who could resolve them. With the exception of one or two staff (Ricardo in the bar for one) the staff was not only not helpful, they were down right rude, surly and clearly had zero customer satisfaction skills or support. What finally prompted me to write this review was our last night. On a Sunday evening, the hotel hosted a birthday party for a 14-year-old boy directly beneath our room, complete with a DJ playing extremely loud music. When we complained, we were informed that the event would likely continue until 1:00 a.m. There was no apology, no effort to relocate guests, and no meaningful attempt to address the disruption. Hotels occasionally encounter maintenance problems. What separates a good hotel from a bad one is how management responds. In our case, the response was consistently indifferent. The property itself has attractive potential from the outside, but our experience was marked by poor cleanliness, ineffective air conditioning, excessive noise, and a lack of customer service. We were in Tuscany for a family wedding and expected a comfortable, restful stay. Instead, Hotel 500 became one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have had in many years. Prospective guests looking for comfort, service, and a good night’s sleep should avoid this hotel. Had we known the true condition of the hotel and the level of management’s indifference to guest concerns, we would have stayed elsewhere.
