HOTEL KRISTAL

I recently stayed in this three-star hotel in Campi Bisenzio: positive experience. Great location, near the Prato Est exit, convenient for Florence and surroundings. Warm and welcoming rooms, recently renovated. Breakfast included and varied. Super helpful and attentive staff: they solved my small problem quickly. Comfortable and secure private parking. I highly recommend it: great value for money, nothing to criticize. Would stay again!

Luckily we only stayed one night at this property. The hygienic conditions do not justify the expense incurred (€84); environment full of mosquitoes and walls full of mosquitoes crushed and left there, very dirty bathroom, unsanitized bathroom fixtures, dirty floor, dust dust dust. There is a small dusty Nespresso coffee machine available, obviously without any pods to use. In the morning the pillows during the cleaning of the rooms were on the floor on the stairwell. Staff not attentive to customers. When booking by telephone, I was assured that the hygienic conditions were adequate. I definitely could have read the reviews better, in line with what we found.

My brother took a room over Christmas to spend the holidays with his family. He paid for the room in advance for three nights and then viewed the room. Non-existent cleaning, broken sockets, inadequate bed, lack of towels (I gave him one for the shower), breakfast not present for a reason that is still incomprehensible; but we reached the maximum last night: my brother arrives very late and no one opens the door for him. The result is that he had to call us at two in the morning to get him back to our house. I understand that the structure may be closed after a certain time, but the presence of someone who can let you in even during the night must be guaranteed, or you clarify this at the time of booking. After paying he would have had to sleep in the car if we hadn't been there. Don't go there, choose another structure, at the same price (in my opinion excessive given the quality of the service) you will certainly find something else with dignified treatment. Maybe the owners are used to treating people this way.
