Poggio agli Ulivi

I stayed at the Poggio agli Ulivi farmhouse with a friend for three nights after Ferragosto 2026. Rooms cleaned and tidied up perfectly every morning. One thing we noticed, which is a plus because it is an aspect not always taken into consideration, is the cleanliness of the shower enclosure with the glass perfectly clean and without a trace of limescale. Every morning the whole room, including the bathroom, was tidied up in a truly impeccable way. Obviously, let's not forget the pool with the lawn around it. The moment of relaxation that we all deserve. Breakfast is enriched by homemade cakes. The savory part of breakfast includes a pecorino cheese that is worth the visit just for that. We always had dinner at the farmhouse, enjoying a mouth-watering dinner every time: mixed cold cuts, excellent meat first and second courses, and, last but not least, desserts not to be missed. We highly recommend a stay at Poggio agli Ulivi.

We stayed only one night to break up the trip and we had a great time. Small, family-run, and very welcoming property. Dinner at the farmhouse and top-notch breakfast! It was beautiful eating under the trees and with very few tables around!

I chose this farmhouse as a stopover to split a long car trip exactly in half. The result was truly pleasant: a cool, relaxing afternoon in the pool, a good Tuscan dinner under two huge trees with a lake view, a night in a beautiful room in an old farmhouse equipped with all the comforts, an excellent breakfast, and all with a fair price-quality ratio; plus, pleasant family management. Of course, reaching the farmhouse is not easy, but luckily there is the satellite navigator.
