Aggravi Hotel

A bad experience, one night was enough and advanced to realize the total absence of any disservice to the faithful hotel, especially by the completely indifferent manager. Door that once locked, just push it with your hands and opened, TV completely disconnected from the non-existent cables, we requested assistance for operation and we were told that it was not possible, and after a check in the room in our absence, confirmed the disconnection of the cables. We've got it all hooked up, but I understand the manager should be the one to fix it. Heating in the suffocation room, there was no way to adjust it, completely unnecessary pillows, if we slept on the floor it was better. Too bad for the country too, completely dying, any business closed and so there was not even a way to find something open to spend time in some shop, bar, etc.... We were really shocked, because after 4 hours of driving to a country where not even a living soul, not even in the villages and surroundings of the areas, you find such a hotel, is very disappointing. The reason we went there, was to go to the "famous spa of Chianciano", honestly it was better to stay at home.

The hotel is a classic 70s structure. We stayed there and then we were around the Val d'Orcia. If you contact the manager directly you will spend even less!!!! The rooms are 70s style but the hotel is very clean, spacious rooms, bathroom with window, nothing is missing. At breakfast there is a bit of everything, Mr, Graziano and the girls are very nice and helpful. Advice!

The same morning of the stay we were contacted by the owner of a different hotel (which I do not want to name) who told us that the hotel in question (Hotel Aggravi) had had such a problem that he could not guarantee us the overnight stay. We then contacted the Aggravi hotel to confirm that what the owner of the other hotel said corresponded to the reality of the facts. After having received confirmation of the “problem” of the Aggravi hotel, displaced and without alternative solutions, given the festive period, we accepted the new destination on the same terms. When we arrived on site we found a disastrous situation in terms of cleanliness, environmental care and reception. We contacted the Hotel Aggravi specifying that the hotel in which they had diverted us was not suitable for staying even one night. There was no collaboration and timeliness in providing a minimally valid alternative solution and after contacting all the hotels in the area independently at 9.00 pm on Saturday evening, without a solution, we were forced to make a 2.5 hour drive home. PS. Note that there was NEVER a valid and specific explanation on the real problem that did not allow us to stay at the Hotel Aggravi, on the other hand the owner informed us by phone that he could not help us at that time because he was busy in the kitchen (with many other background voices), this probably means that the hotel was open and we were not provided with the stay for which we had booked. BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!
