Grand Hotel Terme

The facility must certainly have been high-quality in years past, but now it is evident that it is left a bit to itself. For the cost, we did not expect a top-tier facility and service, but neither did we expect disorganization, insufficient services, and poor maintenance. Too bad. The courteous staff tried to patch the holes

Excellent spa and very kind staff. Too bad I didn't know about the experiences upon arrival, that is, the free experiences included in the stay and inside the hotel. Small maintenance problems solved instantly by the maintenance worker. Good continental breakfast, perhaps the scrambled eggs and bacon should have been kept warm... not left uncovered, cold.

Having stayed several times at this hotel, I noticed some differences from my previous stays (the last one last year). POSITIVE ASPECTS The price is in line with the offer The spa always has unlimited access The breakfast is more than acceptable. The staff is very helpful. NEGATIVE ASPECTS The reception closes at 10 p.m. Afterward they leave you a code to enter for access (I believe that for a 4-star hotel this is not acceptable); At the restaurant the menu remains the same for several days, something that did not happen before (I believe that for a 4-star hotel this is not acceptable); The spa lacks staff that was present until last year (I believe that for a 4-star hotel this is not acceptable); The staff is insufficient, at all levels (I believe that for a 4-star hotel this is not acceptable); The hotel is dated but it was before as well, so no difference here. If this is the policy of the new group managing the hotel, it is not a good start; anyway if the positive aspects I mentioned are enough it is still a good choice, anyway for the rest the area offers everything and there are plenty of things to do and see
