Il Patriarca

It is difficult to tell you about this property in a few words: it is simply excellent! For us it was a big surprise, also because groups (at least those with an average budget) usually do not receive such high-quality service. I will start with the property itself- a historic villa full of charm, surrounded by a park with various peaceful corners, well-kept in its furnishings: how wonderful its small rooms are where you can chat in the evening- I imagine in winter with the fireplace on! The rooms are comfortable and very clean. We really appreciated the "treat" of the cookies in the room every day and the free mini-bar- another thing that does not happen often... perhaps never in reality. Kindness is present in every department of the hotel: from the reception to the dining room staff, everyone is ready to satisfy guests' requests with a smile. The cuisine is excellent. We had dinner both at the Ristorante I Salotti, a historic and elegant hall, and at the Ristorante La Taverna, which is very typical. They are two different cuisines obviously, but both excellent! What else can I say? It is an enchanting place, where you are truly pampered! I’ll leave you my opinion on the fact that many rooms are not served by an elevator, something that, not having seen the property beforehand, had worried me a bit. First of all, the staff went out of their way to give us a hand with the suitcases, which were brought to the rooms upon arrival and picked up at departure. Then the stairs are wide with comfortable steps and handrails. I must say that, despite some mobility difficulties in my group, this “inconvenience” was not really felt...it was erased by everything else. Thank you...keep it up!

Fabulous hotel! Excellent location. We really had a great time. The staff is very friendly and always available. Impeccable cleanliness. Garden and pool area well-maintained and very quiet. We spent four wonderful days. Thank you so much!

Very satisfied with the recent stay, the experience was positive even before check-in, and a special thanks goes to the very kind Lavinia. The location of the \"Patriarca\" is ideal, 2 km from the Chiusi highway exit and 7 km from the Chianciano thermal center. The Villa hotel is located inside a wonderful park and is equipped with a large panoramic pool, with an incredible view of the rolling Sienese hills, lined with cypress trees. The Comfort room, spacious, quiet, with a free minibar and a bathroom with a window. We had dinner twice at the Taverna: the excellent quality and preparation of the meat and the wine list, which was up to the task, including local IGT wines by the glass, are worth noting. It's a shame we had to have dinner inside due to the unbearable outside temperatures during this period, even in the evening. The breakfast was abundant, with a wide variety of fresh fruit and the possibility of ordering fresh squeezed orange juice and eggs in two different preparations. See you soon
