Casa Betania

Betania closed about one year ago, so don't reserve and pay for accomodation there. You are sure to loose your money. It had a wonderfull position, but compleyely run down. Try Villa Margherita instead

Do not make the mistake of booking this property through Expedia or any other services. Upon arrival, the gate to the property was chained and boarded. I waited two-three hours by calling multiple times, with no answer. There was no communication or explanation. I was fortunate to be able to find another hotel to sleep for the night,

It is just outside Centro storico. Note that the building was a monastery in the olden times. In a peaceful area, just a 5-min walk away. Free car parking. Friendly staff, when available :) The Wi-Fi is better on reception area. Great views towards Trasimeno Lake.
