Returning from Trentino, we decided to stop for one night in this ancient monastery that has become a delightful hotel. The property is very well-maintained, clean, and kept in good condition, as are the spacious and airy rooms. Equipped with a beautiful swimming pool and relaxation area, it is just a few minutes by car from restaurants, a supermarket, and other activities. A special mention to the staff, Christian, who helped us and treated us like royalty, and “Vasco,” a quirky character from another era in charge of everything related to the horses and dispensing good advice. Highly recommended property!

Charming place that I recommend to anyone wanting to visit Cortona and Lake Trasimeno. The apartment that was entrusted to us was very spacious, with furniture from the last century but with all the comforts; air conditioning is essential given the temperatures that can be reached as early as May.

Our room (in the photos) has a single weakness and I will point it out at the end. The Monastery is a splendid step back in time. Shut up. Green. Stones. Swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. Balconies with incredible views. Breathtaking room with kitchen, large table, comfortable sofa (converts into a very comfortable bed), large bathroom and built with very very taste. Beautiful bedroom bedroom. Excellent furniture throughout the apartment which is very spacious. All very clean and tidy. Very good sweet and savoury breakfast. Empty brioche that you fill as you like. Great machine for coffee, latte, American coffee, etc... On arrival the car park is Covered by very comfortable canopies. Very kind and professional staff. The double mattress needs to be changed. In fact, despite an excellent topper, it is time tested.
