Agriturismo La Topaia

There are not enough words to describe the beauty and hospitality of the splendid Agriturismo Villa La Topaia! It is a historic villa from the 14th century, completely renovated, immersed in the greenery and absolute peace of the Mugello countryside. A true corner of paradise, also equipped with a fantastic outdoor pool with lounge chairs available for relaxing in total tranquility. The real strength of the property is the hospitality, which can only be described as extraordinary. Upon our arrival, the young lady welcomed us with unique warmth and kindness: she offered us coffee and cookies and personally escorted us to our room. She took care of us throughout our stay, demonstrating an attention and friendliness that are truly rare. She went well beyond our expectations, even anticipating breakfast time just for us, since we had to leave very early in the morning. The cleanliness is impeccable: all spaces, both indoors and outdoors, are super clean and meticulously maintained. Breakfast was simply perfect, with a rich selection of sweet and savory items and genuine products coming directly from their farm. It was a wonderful experience in every way. We had a wonderful week's stay at this beautiful property. Matteo and Guillia are the loveliest, kindest people you could ever meet. We had a problem with our vehicle and Matteo went above and beyond to help us sort it out. We can't thank him enough! La Topaia is fabulous. Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. Guillia prepared a great breakfast every day with amazing fresh, local produce and home baked bread, pastries and cakes. Freshly cooked eggs to order, even when we needed a very early breakfast. The surroundings are stunning and the pool and other outside areas are perfect for relaxing with a drink and taking in the lovely, peaceful scenery. We will definitely return. Gracie mille!

We stayed from 8 to 10 August together with our Golden Retriever, the farmhouse is immersed in the silence of the countryside which offers peace and serenity, but just 3 km away is Borgo San Lorenzo where you can find restaurants and pizzerias and go for a walk. Our room was very spacious and welcoming, the only thing missing was the safe which can always be useful. Much appreciated was the fact that in the bathroom instead of those practically useless hairdryers there was one like the ones used at home. Even though we did not use the service it must be said that the swimming pool with its relaxation area is very beautiful. Excellent breakfast with homemade cakes and jams, the savory part is also good with quality cold cuts accompanied by crunchy and warm bread. Advised
