Alba Palace

We were travelling through Italy and ended up needing accommodation for the night due to a rental car disaster (not an accident) but will save those details for another review - we were lucky enough to find the Alba Palace Hotel while walking the streets not far from the Florence railway station. The hotel is reasonably priced, 3 star but deserve 4, clean, well located, friendly staff, great breakfast which includes on the rate. Free happy hour for guests. There was facility to leave our luggage safely the next morning while we went sightseeing. I am a discerning traveller, I would highly recommend this hotel as an option.

I wish I could put a 10 stars for this hotel , not sure where to start with ? The location is 5 minutes walking from the train station, 8 minutes walking from the Florence Dumo . Super clean, very nice and professional staff , Sara , Irene and the lady who prepares breakfast (sorry forgot her name) , talking about breakfast, was so good and perfect variety . The rooms super clean and got everything you need . If I ever go back to Florence, this hotel will be definitely my spot .

Two-day trip to Florence, we needed a comfortable hotel near the station. Hotel Alba Palace was a perfect choice to stay close to the station, but at the same time 10 minutes from Florence Cathedral. Very nice hotel, clean from large and warm rooms (we stayed in winter). Very courteous staff, we didn't need anything but I'm sure they would have been happy to help us. I'm glad I found this hotel we will be back in our next weekend in Florence.
