Location is very close to train station and attractions, the atmosphere is nice, rooms are ok but without carpets. For friends it is ok as new experience, but if you prefer traditional hotels you won't like it.

The location, atmosphere and the Brazilian guy in charge of the vibe made the whole experience amazing! The rooms are good and it did have AC which was a blessing.

I am giving one star because I cannot give less. It has been the worst experience of my travels. I would not recommend the Ostello Bello in Florence even to my worst enemy. It has a shameful price for its quality. We have stayed at a 5-star hotel in Rome and it cost us less than this hostel, which for those who do not know, is like a youth hostel or budget inn in Spain. As soon as you enter, they greet you at a bar counter, and that is the reception. To get to the rooms, you have to go through the entire bar, which is always crowded and very noisy. The room had a very unpleasant smell right from the start. Dirty windows and furniture that is more than neglected. There was no soap in the bathroom, the sink faucet was rusty, the toilet flush didn't work, and we had to use the showerhead to clean the toilet, torn towels... Needless to say, the reservation included everything. When we went to tell them at what they called reception, they completely ignored us, not even a sorry. And the room cost us the "modest" price of 240 euros a night. Let's not even talk about the breakfast that was also included. 4 croissants and not much else. I had to clean the breakfast tables myself so we could sit down; what's more, I had breakfast out for two days because of how gross it was. It is a shame that such places exist and I feel completely scammed. Of course, we have already filed the corresponding complaints. If you go to Florence, please do not book there. I remind you of the name Ostello bello.
