Great hotel, especially for the value for money, accessibility to the disabled, availability and courtesy of the staff. Located in a strategic point to visit Florence. Recommended

We have booked 1 night with breakfast included. The hotel was ok for a quick stay, we were not expecting much from it, but room was dirty and old, Air conditioning was not working, water from shower without pressure enough, once we arrive to the breakfast at 8:00 am almost every food was already eaten, there was no clean tables to sit, all tables were full of dirty dishes. We have asked the employee about it, he started speaking in italian in a hurry, so we didn't understood anything since we are Portuguese. Basically we didnt eat anything and it was very inconvenient since the hotel is located in a industrial zone, there was no near coffees to take breakfast. The experience in this hotel ended very bad, and the best? Explaining this to service customers asking only refund for breakfast and the reply: “Absolutely no refund” TOP.

We arrived on 27/09 for one night. We had asked for a room with a balcony and were given one without. Calling the reception we had the room changed first because of the condition of the room and then because it was without a balcony hoping that the other is cleaner. As for cleaning nothing changed but we had the balcony being smokers. Balcony open to all rooms on the floor, without private. I looked in other guests' rooms and they looked in our rooms. No partitions, no security. There was even a lot of soil for plants leaning against the wall Weight is the worst experience. Dirty, very dirty. Toilet even with mold, very hard bed without mattress covers, bare room. There was not even a table to put things down. The best thing was when we returned in the evening saying the guy at the reception “we cleaned the bathroom”. The pictures were taken later. They still have to figure out what 4 stars means. They should come to Venice to understand the comfort of 4 stars. I’m not talking about the cold weather and the heating can’t be turned on until mid-October 🤕. He doesn't deserve the stars or even what we paid for. Total disappointment.
