I stayed one night in this hotel, my opinion is generally negative, the photos on the site do not correspond to reality, the room had dirty walls, the furniture was old and ruined and so was the bathroom. The only positive notes are the clean sheets and the truly central location. You advise against it.

We checked into Hotel Azzi and discovered the photos of lobby, and reception were nothing like photos. Even the sign that should say Hotel Azzi said Ostello Bello, a hostel. When we asked if it was a hostel we were told by receptionist that we were in the hotel. Our door opened directly into eating area of common kitchen. The room was nothing like advertised. When we showed receptionist what where we thought we were staying even she couldn’t understand as it looked NOTHING like it! This property is fine if you are looking for a hostel, and young crowd, but was not what we were led to believe form website, so beware. We checked out and found a hotel more to our suiting.

Very good place to spend a few days. Very helpful and friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms (we had two for our family), excellent breakfast. We got a thorough 'guided introduction' of what to best visit in Florence and this has been clearly very helpful. Well situated, it's around 10 to 15 minutes walking to most of the places a tourist would like to go. close to the railway station and busstop to the airport. Lazy as we were in the evenings after our daily dosis of sightseeing, we managed to eat every evening in one of the Trattorias nearby (the Enzo e Piero was a good suggestion).
