Open the window of your room and it takes little to imagine that you are in the fifteenth century, at the height of the Renaissance. We stayed in Florence for three days, guests of Duomo View b&b. Perfect choice for visiting this beautiful city. Ideal location to reach churches, museums palaces to visit, all on foot and in minutes. The Santa Maria Novella station is also close to the b&b, easily reachable on foot. The property is located in a stately building right next to the Duomo, in the stairwell there is also an elevator. The rooms are spacious, cozy. We enjoyed the cleanliness and courtesy and friendliness of the staff. Breakfast is served directly in the room at the chosen time, good and punctual service. On the morning of the day of departure, after vacating the room, we were able to leave our luggage in storage to collect it later when we went to the station. A real courtesy for the guest. Definitely to recommend.

We have been guests several times. It's always a safety. Duomo view in name and in fact! Priceless view. The customer management was also really super: the lady allowed us to change the date of the stay without any problem, we had to postpone the departure by two weeks. Highly recommended!

Great location - in the heart of the square - couldn’t ask for better location but the positives stop there. First, there are always people loitering and smoking right outside the entrance. You have to walk thru a cloud of smoke to get inside. Then there are 50+ steps to climb up to get to the rooms! They claim to have an elevator but it barely fits 1 person (and maybe a small bag). Try lugging luggage for a family of 4 up all those stairs! Not fun! Then the rooms are large enough but stink like smoke! Plus there are literal holes in the walls and it’s not the cleanest. The bathroom is large but the shower is the smallest I’ve ever seen. If you are taller than 5’8”, you won’t fit. Also, the walls are paper thin - you can hear everything! Do not stay here. Spend a bit more and go to one if the hotels in the square instead.
