Capri Moon

Without a doubt, this was one of the worst stays of my life. Upon arrival, my partner and I couldn’t access the property: no answer at the doorbell or by phone. We only managed to get in after about 30 minutes, thanks to other guests who happened to be passing by. The room was next to the reception, with no soundproofing at all: it was impossible to rest because you could hear every guest coming and going. The worst part? There was an active construction site right outside the window, with unbearable noise starting at 7:30 a.m., and we were never informed in advance. The stay was completely ruined, and the staff ignored the issues, coming up with excuses for every problem. I strongly advise against this property for everything: terrible value for money, unprofessional staff, and most importantly, it fails at the one thing a hotel should guarantee—letting you sleep in peace.

The premises are well maintained, there is attention to detail, there is a romantic and refined atmosphere. Clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff.

Due to a family emergency, and no longer being able to travel to Florence at all, we tried to cancel our room 5 days prior to the trip which was the cancellation window, but 4 hours after the online cancellation option. They were unhelpful, didn’t respond. By the time we spoke to them, still 4 days prior they simply said no to a charge fee cancellation. Booking.com agreed to not charge their commission fee, but they didn’t care. They just want the cash and seem unwilling to be open to a change or circumstance. I paid £168 for the room which is probably their most expensive rate also give the grade of the hotel.
