Great location beacuse it's close to train station. Dirty room with dirty mattresses and pillows.Room too small for five people.Bathroom dirty and old with mold. In the bathroom there weren't shower gel and soap

The hotel could probably use a bit of renovation, however my two night stay was perfect. The staff is exceptionally friendly and very keen to help at any moment. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a well located place to visit Florence.

I booked this hotel because of its convenience to the train station which was around a block from the hotel. I also looked at photos before booking and for around 100 euros a night, it seemed nice and clean. The elevator is 86 years old and the hotel is actually located on the 3rd floor but the reception is on the 2nd floor. This hotel doesn't provide free breakfast and I didn't pay an extra 7 euros for it. There are plenty of options for breakfast just around the corner of the hotel. The interior of the room was very old, the walls were dirty, there was a lot of dust in the room (you could see it on the hangers), the floor tiles were moving, and there was black mould all over the washroom. There was a huge hole in the bathroom door, which looked like someone punched the door. I stayed around the end of May and although there is an air condition machine in the room, they don't give you with a remote and the man working the reception did not know why. Since the room was hot and humid, I opened the window, but the noise outside is too loud for sleeping so it has to be closed during the nighttime. The next morning, I woke up with large mosquito bites on my face and neck, the only parts exposed while sleeping. I never opened the windows again during my stay. The bathroom was also a bit strange, the shower is TINY and I'm considerably very skinny. There is lots of space in the washroom so I'm not sure why the shower is so small. They provide a small bar of soap and 2-3 packets of shampoo/body wash for your stay and don't provide you with a new bar of soap each day. There are also no face towels or towel racks to hang your towels or the hand towel. The room was very spacious, but most of it is unused space. It is also very dusty and spent most of my time sneezing while in the room. I spent most of my day out of the room and still felt my stay uncomfortable.
