50 Years of Marriage Celebration Perfect organization. Excellent reception from all the staff. Beautiful and well-maintained location, excellent both in presentation and in the quality of food and drinks, both outside and inside. All the participants in the evening were very enthusiastic. ★☆☆☆☆ — Extremely Disappointing Stay We stayed at Hotel 500 in June 2026 and cannot recommend it. From the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing. The room and common areas did not meet reasonable standards of cleanliness, and the air conditioning was ineffective during a period of very warm weather. When we raised our concerns with staff, we found them unhelpful and unable or unwilling to escalate the issues to someone who could resolve them. With the exception of one or two staff (Ricardo in the bar for one) the staff was not only not helpful, they were down right rude, surly and clearly had zero customer satisfaction skills or support. What finally prompted me to write this review was our last night. On a Sunday evening, the hotel hosted a birthday party for a 14-year-old boy directly beneath our room, complete with a DJ playing extremely loud music. When we complained, we were informed that the event would likely continue until 1:00 a.m. There was no apology, no effort to relocate guests, and no meaningful attempt to address the disruption. Hotels occasionally encounter maintenance problems. What separates a good hotel from a bad one is how management responds. In our case, the response was consistently indifferent. The property itself has attractive potential from the outside, but our experience was marked by poor cleanliness, ineffective air conditioning, excessive noise, and a lack of customer service. We were in Tuscany for a family wedding and expected a comfortable, restful stay. Instead, Hotel 500 became one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have had in many years. Prospective guests looking for comfort, service, and a good night’s sleep should avoid this hotel. Had we known the true condition of the hotel and the level of management’s indifference to guest concerns, we would have stayed elsewhere.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed by this establishment where I have come several times in the past. Once I arrived, I discovered that the pool was under maintenance, but unfortunately, at the time of booking, no one thought to inform me. If I had been informed, I would have spent €268.00 elsewhere: the pool is an important value for someone like me who is looking for a hotel of a certain level. These small oversights disappoint the customer, who is often led to remember them instead. The stay was okay.
