Hotel Cestelli

We had a big bed and a big room, which is comfortable enough. The toilet is share but very clean. This place is the home of a sweet, helpful couple, so they are just a bell away. Thank you for the nice stay!

On arrival did not feel welcomed, just ordered the requirements needed from the owner example.. lights not to be used unnecessarily, don’t be too long in the shower even though the water takes 10 minutes to heat! felt as though we should walk on eggshells. Also told clean our room before departure. Had to wait longer than told before check in but ordered to be out prompt at 10am! Why 10am when all they needed to do was change the bed as we cleaned our room as ordered!

The property is strategically located and the family that runs it is friendly and helpful. However it is a rather dated apartment and not very well maintained. In the hallway there is a strong bad smell, the bathroom is very small and old with obvious signs of DIY maintenance, as well as the presence of the gas boiler placed inside. The furniture is old and of poor quality, so the living room is not particularly comfortable. All this fully explains the star that qualifies the structure and therefore does not surprise much. In view of the flaws present and however justified by the category to which they belong, the tourist is required to respect a very strict protocol that provides for arrival by 20 (under penalty of a surcharge to be paid), the absolute prohibition of smoking, even just one cigarette a day in the bathroom with the window open (which is not understood to whom it should harm, given the fact that the rooms are neither cleaned nor tidied during the stay), and the respect of the release of the room by 10 without any flexibility.
