Hotel was convenient, clean with an easy check-in. It was what we needed near the airport for a flight out the next morning

My name is Dolores Portela, I live in the United States and I travel to Italy frequently. I stayed at the Cosmopolitan hotel in Florence from May 20, 2025, with my son. The reservation until the 26th. The breakfast was very good and varied with a buffet. Very good location. The room is equipped with everything needed and the linen is very clean. The front desk staff is very friendly and polite; but unfortunately, since the second day I couldn't sleep due to shortness of breath, because of the large amount of dust on the headboard, the window curtains, and the corners of the room. I left the hotel a day early because I got sick, I was very short of breath. Sadly, the front desk staff were not as courteous or fair at the moment I left the hotel. They told me in the harshest way that I had to pay the taxes (which is known), I have photos and videos that I showed at the time I reported the situation on the second day of being at the mentioned hotel.

I stayed for one night between 3 and 4 May u.s. in a standard room located on the second floor overlooking the street. Unfortunately, I found that there was no soundproofing and therefore the traffic noise from the road is really annoying. My reports were worthless.
