Hotel La Noce

Pension in the historic center of Florence, this Pension was ideally located. When we arrived first unpleasant, it was about 16:30, the receptionist accompanied us to our room, and there nice surprise the room was not prepared, the receptionist offered us to come back in about 1 hour, on our return around 17:30, the room was ready. Despite the Award of €549.50 for 4 nights, no tv, the wifi did not work, and the 4g of my cell phone malfunctioned. The next day we returned for a mid-afternoon break, we had the unpleasant surprise that our room was open, we informed the receptionist, he apologized and told us that there was no risk of theft in the Pension. The last day we had to vacate our room by 10:30, we had our bus to catch at 3:50, so we had a little time ahead of us. We took a last walk and returned to the Pension at about 2 p.m., there were no toilets available for our guests, we decided to go to another floor of the Pension, the cleaning lady forbidding us access because she had just cleaned, speaking to us in an authoritarian and extremely unpleasant tone, we did not insist, but informed the receptionist of our inconveniences, the receptionist looks at us innocently, specifying that she had nothing to do with it, I conclude by specifying that when we opened the windows of the room, we had to endure strong smells of cooking, the noise of dishes and kitchens, until late at night. I witnessed a distressing scene, as I walked into the Pension one evening, I met some elderly female tourists who had big bags to carry. Indeed, when arriving you have to climb a staircase of one floor to access the elevator, despite their insistence the receptionist made no effort to help them climb the stairs, claiming that it is not his job. For all its reasons I strongly advise against this establishment

omg! noisy room, air con 12 inch hole in the ceiling which they don't turn on until they're ready! Light blue room with air con it said!! How about pedestal fan! The air con supposed to come on at 9pm after 10 and am sweating to death, this fan is no good. Smoke drifts into the room if window left open! breakfast!! I don't think so - it's crap

I recently visited Florence with my husband and specifically booked a room with a double bed and a private bathroom in Hotel Regina with Veneer.com. After some confusion on the given address we reached there and pressed the buzzer for Hotel Regina. We were let in without someone answering. When we got to the second floor, we saw Hotel La Noce (a two star hotel). The lady in the reception saw us on the stairs and called us and told that Hotel La Noce and HOtel Regina are the same! She did not speak any English, luckily I can understand some Italian. Anyway we went in to check in and she showed us to our room. To our horror, it was a tiny room with two single beds, placed in a row!!! a table, 3 chairs, a wardrobe and a sink and no view from the window. The private bathroom was actually down the corridor!!! and it was in a horrible state. How can this hotel be a two star hotel?? We tried telling the lady that we booked for a double bed with private bathroom but it wasn't very useful. She seemed like a nice woman, but she did not understand English. Anyway I asked her if we could speak to someone who can understand and speak English. She called another person, who worked night shift. He spoke english and she passed on the phone to my husband. But without even listening to what we had to say he kept saying thats a double room in Italy and we either take it or leave it!!! Later in the evening we met this guy who worked there. And when he saw us he kept saying he did not want to repeat everything again and told us we can leave the hotel if we want to and he has walk in customers waiting for the room!! Where would we go at 7 pm on a saturday night in florence??? Anyway i think the hotel staff were very rude and the website is misleading the customers. Its nothing like they show on the website. Its basically a run down hostel with no air conditioning or television. We have stayed in so many hotels in Italy and this is probably our worst experience ever. Awful customer service, misleading and tricking guests, horrible toilet with an open shower and unfriendly staff. Only good thing was the location of the hotel but Florence is fairly small and its not a problem if you stay somewhere better few hundred meters away. They were nice enough to let us leave our bags the day we were leaving. However, when we went to get our bags, my husband wanted to change his clothes before leaving and the old lady at the reception was so rude not to let him use the bathroom for few minutes to change! we were very shocked by this experience and behaviour!! We do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
