When we were let down by airb&b the lovely owner of this beautiful hotel gave up her own room to accommodate us. Beautiful hotel with lovely large comfy bed. Perfect location to explore Florence. Will definitely return and thoroughly recommend.

Very well located hotel but very noisy, a music bar is located just below and the music plays until very late at night. In addition, not soundproofed we benefit from the noise of people moving around the hotel as well as the noise of breakfast. Horrible. Unacceptable!

What a beautiful experience in Hotel Relais, Il Cestello. My husband and I travelled from Australia for an emergency trip to be with our daughter , hospitalised while on her vacation. This hotel was a restful place for a stressful time. Very clean , neat , and tranquil. Eduina on the desk was amazing , thoughtful , helpful , as she juggled rooms to accomodate our daughter on an unknown date of discharge from hospital. Eduina made us feel like family , with her genuinely caring nature and her obvious dedication and commitment to her work. We would highly recommend this hotel - you will feel welcomed and looked after , from the cleanliness of the rooms , the delicious provisions for breakfast , and the proximity to attractions , while being on the quieter side of the river. Perfect location . Thankyou again Eduina for making our stay a pleasure , through our stress. You are a rare gem .
