Not good! No water to flush the toilet, being moved to another room with defective AC!! Really bad experience after 18 hours of travelling with no sleep

This location is great. The air conditioning is great. That’s all. Avoid this place. Terrible bed. Terrible pillows. Nothing in the apartment you usually find like salt. No ice trays. But the management is the worst. I booked through booking dot com and submitted a bad review. Management literally lied. They said that we checked into our room and complained about it, and they upgraded us without even charging us anything extra. None of that is true. We checked in and were given a room and that was the room we had. We didn’t complain at that time, even though I’m disabled and the room had a flight of stairs. And these guys lied and said the original room was accessible. Why in the world would I have traded an accessible room for a room with stairs when I can’t walk upstairs. The guy who checked us in, didn’t assist us with luggage didn’t wait for us ran ahead and generally gave us the impression that he was tremendously bothered by having to take us to our room. The kitchen table which seats four had a microwave taking over a third of the table so if you had four people there is no way four people could’ve sat around the table. Basically we have been traveling through Italy for five weeks and this is the worst place that we stayed in Italy and honestly it’s one of the worst places I’ve stayed and I have traveled all around the world. But the manager, Eduardo, lying about upgrading our room at our request took the cake. Now, after the fact, I have looked at the negative reviews and what seems to be a pattern is management argues with everybody who complains rather than accept criticism that could help them better their business. I would suggest avoiding this place. The sheets felt gritty. There was just nothing warm or welcoming or comfortable. There were no satellite tv channels and no sitting area despite those things being advertised. There are tons of better places to stay. I recommend you find literally anything else. I have been trying to complain through Booking.com . If you look at the pictures that I am attaching, they don’t look anything like what you see on the website. When I mentioned this management said well you don’t get to pick your room and I do understand that but the pictures make the place look really nice and it is not a nice place at all.

We stayed here for a few nights Check-in was at a hotel a few streets away from the apartment itself. Unfortunately when we arrived, the lift at the 'check in hotel' wasn’t working, so I had to leave my husband downstairs with the suitcases while I went up. We had agreed an earlier check-in time when booking, but the receptionist initially argued that we could not check in yet. Thankfully I had written confirmation and she eventually accepted it. However, the actual admin process was incredibly slow — almost 25 minutes just to check two passports, pay the tax, sign one form and locate the keys. A member of staff then walked us to the apartment 342, showed us how to use the lift and switched the fridge on for us. The apartment itself was in an excellent central location, which was the major plus. However, we had expected more of a view over the square. Instead, we had a limited view of a side street. To be fair, the description does say that only some apartments overlook the square, so perhaps we should have been more prepared for that, although it still felt disappointing paying the same price for no view and having booked 7 months previous. The apartment was on the second floor of the building and was split-level with a mezzanine layout. Downstairs was the kitchenette and bathroom, while upstairs was the bedroom and walk-in wardrobe. The bed sat on opaque glass flooring, which felt a little strange, and the metal staircase was quite steep. Anyone with mobility issues would probably struggle here and it was tricky to negotiate the stairs for the toilet at night. The split-level arrangement and no comfy chairs also made it difficult to relax anywhere but the bed. The shower, positioned over a tiny bath and access partially blocked by the toilet, was also very cramped and difficult to climb into. I also question the lack of privacy as there was a single connecting door in our bedroom. Although locked, I could clearly hear a man coughing at night. There was a very small lift, only really large enough for two people and a suitcase but it worked. The “welcome box” was fairly minimal — just a tea towel, dishcloth, 2 bin bags, sponge and a tiny bottle of washing-up liquid. Did they think we were going to buy a whole box of dishwasher tablets for a 4 night stay? Toiletries were also basic, with four sachets of shampoo and shower cap provided. The air conditioning worked very well (although it switched off automatically if a window was open). There were TVs upstairs and downstairs, though only one English-language channel. The kitchen was equipped with a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, pans, crockery and utensils. But there was NO KETTLE to heat water and just a small metal espresso coffee maker.  Everything looked very clean. The main negative for us was the heavy banging noises. During the day it sounded like construction work happening in another apartment, which didn't bother us. Unfortunately, on the final night of our stay, the banging continued past 10pm which made for an uncomfortable evening. We slept well each night though.
