La Residenza

If you look for a wonderful place to stay in Florence, have no doubt that La Residenza Hotel is one of the best choices available. Yet be careful with the room you will stay. As the majority of italian buildings, the elevator has a pantographic door which only reaches the third floor. So if your room is on the fourth floor you will have to go upstairs with your luggage and with no help from your concierge. Be aware of that and have an amazing stay in Florence. Enjoy

Staying at Hotel La Residenza was amazing experience. Riccardo was such a huge help leading up to the days of our arrival( there were 10 of us staying at the hotel for my pre-wedding). The hotel is situated in the best location, the upstairs deck takes you away from the city, the rooms are spacious, and Riccardo is a fantastic host. He had super recommendations for dinners, and the breakfast really was great. If you are coming to Florence and looking for a place to stay, look no further. Thanks for everything Riccardo we will be back!

Very rude staff, particularly one named Bamba who screamed and scolded us for getting lost to the hotel and got there late one night and had to wake him up. He kept yelling and was upset that his sleep was disturbed. We were only 1 hour late. No concern that guests got lost. The owner also refused to help or take any action. No respect for guests. Breakfast was limited and ran out quickly.
