Good place to stay, calm and quiet. It is not very clean, but the localization is spectacular, you can see the dome from the balcony and it is at walking distance from the main sightseeings. The reception is opened during few hours a day, but you can contact by phone.

I stayed 3 days in that hostel and loved. Yes, the condition is not high, but it was safe. The staff was friendly, specially Luca, helped a lot. He was very kind. Big thanks to him. If you are looking for low budget, safe and good hostel -it is for you. You will enjoy. The location is good, it is close to the the main station and to the toursitics areas. Just in case, if you need to come earlier or later than check in time just let them know via mail. So you will not have problem. Good luck!

This is a great place to stay in if you are looking for budget lodging. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. There is a kitchen where you can get coffee and tea sorted. The terrace has a neat view of the Duomo too. It is bang in the middle of a hustling bustling street so you can run down and grab a cornetto/coffee for breakfast if you feel up to it. The SMN station is a 5 minute walk, so it is a great base for day trips to the rest of Tuscany as well. They give you codes for the entrance,so the check in was really simple too. I will definitely stay here again if I ever visit Florence in the future. While you are here, please try Pizza at the Livio- the Neapolitan pizza there is so good.
