Locanda Dei Ciompi

Spent some time, with our three generations, at Locanda de' Ciompi, in May 2026. The family was so pleased with the location, historic accommodations and our hosts, Mira and Franscesco. We could want for nothing! Spacious, beautifully maintained rooms, with all the nice touches. Breakfast vouchers were also provided for the lovely cafe, just a few steps away. Mira and Franscesco were most gracious in helping us with anything we needed during our stay, from suggestions and tips for navigating Firenze, to aiding us with the unexpected train strike and our uncertain travels on to Venice. We recently had a lovely 5 night stay here while visiting Florence for my 60th birthday. Mira and her partner were extremely helpful and communication was excellent both prior to our stay and during. The location couldn’t be more central. In a lovely neighbourhood near Santa Croce. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed provided us with a lovely sleep and we got a voucher to spend at a local bakers each morning for pastries, coffee and water. I would definitely stay here again if back in Florence. Lots of lovely cafes and restaurants around the doors and a local market in the square opposite.

Thanks to Mira and Francesco for the 'welcome and tips. We were enchanted and passionate by Florence; the Locanda dé Ciompi made our holiday even more beautiful. Exceptional location, maximum cleanliness, elegance. Very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast at Nencioni. We will be back soon
