Orcagna

This weekend, I stayed at the Hotel Orcagna with my dog Aura. I must say that it is rare in Florence to find establishments that willingly accommodate dogs without imposing weight limits and numerous restrictions. The staff at Hotel Orcagna proved to be very open and accommodating (and I want to emphasize that Aura is well-behaved, as all our furry friends should be to ensure respect for the environment), so this is already a first note of merit for this establishment. At the time of check-out, I requested if we could keep the room for a few more hours for Aura since I had to visit an exhibition that she could not enter (and it was 38 degrees outside…). My request came in late, and since other guests would be arriving shortly, it was impossible to accommodate it. The staff, with extreme kindness and dedication, worked hard to find an alternative solution, resolving a major issue for me and my Aura. A special thank you to the staff at Orcagna; you will be our point of reference every time we come to Florence!

The hotel is a bit outside the center of Florence, but it is still reachable on foot. Our room was truly spacious and comfortable. The kettle, the small balcony, and the daily change of towels were very much appreciated. There was a jacuzzi in the room, which we did not use. The breakfast was very good and varied, both sweet and savory. The option for parking in a nearby garage at the price of €15 per day was also excellent.

Very comfortable hotel, well located, quiet, with good style, excellent suite room.
