Poggio Imperiale

Impossible to check in. No one answers the phones Only a rude man who speaks either Italian or French. Avoid. Been sitting out front for an hour with zero help or idea what to do next. Avoid at all costs - on a very busy street with zero parking. Will update if things are corrected.

My stay in Giovanni apartment of Poggio Imperial Apartments was for 2 weeks. The apartment is comfortable and cosy with very well equipped kitchen with plates and a refrigerator. Air conditioning and fan are also there. Laundry room presents in the apartments' hall. The location is very good: ~20 minutes by foot from the centre, 5 minutes from Carrefour supermarket and closest restaurants. There are grocery shops around. The bus stops Porta Romana are also 5 minutes from the apartment. There is a beautiful terrace with cafe-like tables and chairs in the apartments.

After researching online for months before traveling to Florence. I consider myself fortunate to have come across this apartment. I found the proprietors to be helpful and kind. A nice location is just outside the tourist area in the oltrarno, near Porta Romana. The apartments are quiet and clean with a washer and dryer on site. It’s easy to take in the ambiance of Florence with a short walk to the museums, while a large peaceful terrace welcomes you back to your rooms. Thank you Clara and Carlo for a wonderful stay!
