The hotel's main positives are its location, the views from the rooftop, the staff at breakfast, and the room: - The location is a block away from Ponte Vecchio and minutes away from many of the main attractions like the Uffizi Gallery and Piazza Duomo. We walked everywhere, including to the Pitti Palace / Boboli Gardens and even to the Piazzale Michelangelo. The luxury shops are literally right outside and in the 2 or 3 block radius if you're interested in luxury shopping. - As many other hotel guests indicated, the views of Florence from the rooftop are amazing. Looking out to the Arno river and the surrounding areas as one eats breakfast in the morning sets the tone for the rest of the day. - Similarly, the staff at breakfast are friendly. We especially enjoyed the chats we had with Eri. She was not only personable, she was also attentive. She knew that my spouse needed ketchup with his eggs in the morning, so she would proactively bring it for him each morning without him asking. It's the attention to details and small gestures that usually leave a lasting impression. - Finally, the room was a good size with two bathrooms - one with a bathtub and the other with a shower. On the other hand, the other services were spotty. The housekeeping was not consistent - for instance, one of the housekeeper did not replenish some of the toiletries while another one would do so (I believe it was Nada?). Sometimes, the concierge / check-in desk would not even have anyone there. It makes the hotel feel like a service apartment vs. even a boutique hotel. As for the staff at the rooftop bar, they are friendly, but one of the staff members had his friends hanging out at the bar while he was working. It was not a one time occurrence.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and it was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The staff were able to provide early check-in when we arrived and upgraded our stay to one of their top suites. The room was amazing! It was very large, had a private balcony, and a great view over the river. One of the nights of our stay, we went to the rooftop bar for drinks before dinner and had an amazing view of the sunset on the terrace with some great cocktails. The following night we went to Piazzale Michelangelo for sunset (recommended by almost every tour site you will see), but we wished we would have stayed at this hotel's rooftop! We have nothing but good things to say about this hotel and highly recommend it!

This is my new favorite hotel in Florence. The rooms are all unique & have so much charm. The location is perfect, central to everything, complete with rooftop views of the Arno & Ponte Vecchio. The staff is very friendly & helpful, especially Tania at the front desk. I highly recommend a stay here, and hope I'll be lucky enough to come back soon!
