Cannot speak more highly to my wife and I's experience at Residenza Il Villino this summer. The high-class hospitality from Barbara, the host and manager of the B&B, began immediately. Upon checking in, Barbara helped us get a feel for Florence with a detailed map of the city and shared some of her recommendations, which were spot on. She even guided us through the process of booking a day trip to Siena. Barbara went above and beyond at every turn to make us feel comfortable in a new city, and even helped me mail postcards to my family back home. The room was perfect and reasonably priced with an amazing view of the Duomo. The breakfast was plentiful and even included treats made by the host. A perfect, quiet, and quaint spot to spend our honeymoon. Thank you, Barbara!

What a lovely place to stay in Firenze! On a quiet street, centrally located and close to most major sights. Beautiful historic building built in the 1400’s with the lovely hostess, Barbara and her very nice staff. The rooms are lovingly appointed with all the necessities and beautiful furnishings. They had an iron at my request which was helpful, and when I inadvertently left my credit card and had left the property at check out, they called and offered to send it. Breakfast was very nice including wonderful baked goods handmade by the owner and cappuccino to order. Lovely courtyard and a great place for families with the extra large family rooms. Very quiet and secure. I have stayed many places in Florence but will definitely stay here again!

The Residenza il Villini is perfectly located to enjoy all that Florence has to offer. Tucked away on a quiet street just blocks away from all important sights, this B and B is an oasis of calm and beauty after a day of sightseeing. The room (superior double) was spacious and had a beautiful view of the courtyard and the dome of the Duomo, and was supplied with everything you need. Breakfast included a lovely array of pastries, fruit, eggs, meats and cheese. Owner Barbara is extremely helpful for everything from dinner recommendations and reservations to sightseeing tips. A fabulous choice for a stay in Florence!
