San Giorgio Florence

Stayed here for one night and had a good experience overall. The hotel is in a really convenient location, close to the train station and within walking distance of the main sights in Florence. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay, with a decent selection and enough to start the day. For a short stay, it was exactly what I needed. Would stay here again.

Creepy room, smelly carpet, broken window. Worse still the judgment about the breakfast and the waitress: both salty and sweet not really fresh, dirty tables and not cleaned, rudeness of the staff!

I chose this property initially for "pet friendly" convenience as I was traveling with my son and two dachshunds ❤️. I then rediscovered , just arrived, a historic structure, beautiful and very very characteristic. The rooms are classic style but absolutely nothing is missing, 1 minute walk from the central market and a couple of minutes from the station and the old town. Exquisite staff, reception (including interns) efficient and helpful, the cleaning lady, always with a smile and the lady, I think the owner, present and professional! Breakfast ok, suitable for an international clientele. I highly recommend this property, we are sure to come back!
