Everything was beautiful. From the views, to the weather, to the food, to everything. We had a great trip celebrating and having my best friend's wedding there. There was one issue at the end that really created a sour taste in my mouth. The management basically forced us to schedule a taxi ride the day after the wedding at 9am, which the wedding and party didn't end until 2am the night before. I paid for the hotel until 12PM checkout, why am I forced to leave by 9:40AM... It was almost as if they had made the taxi situation as convenient for the property and not for the guest.. If everyone wants to leave at 12PM, maybe the property should hire multiple taxis instead of just one person going back and forth from the property. Other than this situation, I would have given the hotel five stars.

Oh what a lovely, lovely stay we had. The Villa is elegant, yet comfortable, situated in beautiful Tuscany. The staff is exceptional and the food is fantastic. The rooms lead from one fabulous place to another and the suites are spacious with great bedding. Each room is an adventure as they differ in many ways. Our friend's had a room with a full, country kitchen. Hannah's focaccia was the best you'll ever have as is the Cacio e Pepe (Spaghetti With Black Pepper and Pecorino Romano). When they learned it was our friend's birthday, they had a bottle of champagne in his room by the time he got back from breakfast and when I slept in, breakfast in bed was prepared for my husband to deliver. The staff helped us negotiate all the itineraries we planned and stopped whenever they saw us to say hello and see if they could help us with anything. The Villa has lived up to its mission by providing a friendly, elegant and peaceful experiene as if you were a friend of the family. YOU NEED A CAR. On the last day I dreamed of coming back over and over again.
