Villaggio Orizzonte

Second consecutive year and I must admit that I found the village improved. North pool completely renovated, I hope that soon it will not be the turn of the south one too (too bad there were no slides open). Bar and restaurant services are excellent, as is the beach. The only negative note was the insect bites that we all fought for both weeks, despite the disinfestation done even during our stay. Excellent services for 4-legged friends, the only campsite in the area to also have a part of the beach designated for dogs, instead of having to go look for other beaches far from the campsite.

Beautiful campsite, very cute and clean cabins, very beautiful, clean, and tidy pools, welcoming and kind staff, and great entertainment; you can tell they put in the effort. Beautiful sea, even if it was a bit rough it wasn't a problem, in fact I found it more fun; the only thing is that for the first two days a somewhat unpleasant smell came out of the shower, but it wasn't unbearable, it was enough to keep the bathroom door closed, and as for the air conditioner, because if set above 24 degrees a strange smell came out. Bicycles in bad shape (but I don't think it depends on the campsite).

Having had experiences in other 4-star resorts, unfortunately we were not satisfied at all. It is not a 4-star resort! The resort is nice but is very lacking in the services offered. Spacious bungalow, but it was embarrassing to have to call maintenance 3 times in one week for problems in the bathroom, not to mention the constant unpleasant smell of sewage throughout the resort and especially while we were eating on the porch. The little train is there, but the schedule absolutely needs to be reviewed; in our opinion, the service should also be available during the lunch break. The sea is certainly beautiful. The restaurant, pizzeria, and shop hours also need to be reviewed! It would be appropriate to renovate the tent theater as well! With a different facility, the very willing animation team could have shown they were capable of doing better and more.
