B&B I Girasoli

Was a pleasant surprise to find an authentic stone mansion for an inexpensive price and so conveniently located near Pisa & Tuscany - drove in from Basel and arrived late to a warm welcome by our wonderful host and a very spacious and immaculately clean room that had every amenity you could think of-large beds, air conditioning, extra sheets & towels, tv, in-room coffee maker etc. And a child play area in the garden as well next to the free parking & garden seating. Reviews mentioned a lack of breakfast options but we found the included breakfast more than adequate for the overall price-cereal ,bread, take away snacks,home made biscuits that were lovely, seasonal fruit,beverage options etc. And to top it all the host makes your stay complete with his hospitality and local knowledge. Free bikes provided that would help if you are to cycle around the centre(be wary of the ZTL zones if you plan to drive into the centre). Must visit with its warm host and convenient location and the unbeatable price-highly recommended!

This is in a good location just outside the famous Walls of Lucca...Easy access by car to parking just at the Mure. We were very pleased with the accommodation and services. Our host Validoro did everything to make us feel at home and was very helpful with information and extra services and use of the kitchen. We wanted to stay longer but he was completely booked due to The Rolling Stones Concert in Lucca...so we moved on... An excellent BnB expetience...would definitely go back. Very nice B&B ,just outside downtown, and 2 minutes away from the highway,quiet neighborhood.The room was clean and cozy,spacious bathroom,very comfortable bed and the owner was very nice .we had a lovely breakfast too!
