Farmhouse La Valle

We stayed at La Valle in montaoine as a base to explore Tuscany, it was a perfect spot to base yourself, only a short drive to all the major tourist spots.. The apartment was clean and spacious, the views from the property were amazing. This property comes highly recommended from us.

This is a good place shared by 6 families with a good swimmingpool (one for smaller children and one for the rest of us) and tennis court. Simone and his brother was very good hosts. Nearby a Coop shop with good selection of goods. Only things to complain about is the shared internet and narrow parking of the car.

Wonderful weeks stay in Montaione. Took a 3 bedroom villa which was so spacious - well equipped kitchen, large sitting room, 3 good size bedrooms (one ensuite) and bathroom. The facility had about 6 villas - superbly maintained all with their own BBQ area and outsider sitting area, The pool was gorgeous with beautiful views across the countryside.The villa was about a 5 minute walk to a local shop which had everything we needed, It is about a 10 min drive away from train station with east access to Florence, Siena and Pisa. Montaione is a perfect location to base your Tuscany holiday - it seemed to be about 20 mins away from so many beautiful villages and towns (Volterra, St Gimignano). This place blew me away - gorgeous, romantic, quiet. I was so sad leaving this place...magical!
