Verena Dependance Savoia & Campana

We stayed one night in the annex Verena as agreed. We did not expect a 5 star because that was not the idea but you have to say that for the amount paid given the period everything was absolutely adequate. The courtesy of the owners appreciable and the cleanliness of the room excellent.

On checking in we were greeted by a lovely guy. Really imfortative and kind. He explained parking was round the corner either in a blue bay - free till 8am or slightly further is a car park - free all day. We found our room in the 2nd building which was clean and well presented. The only down side is in july no aircon, no fan, the room was a sauna. We asked for a fan which was given to us but it just didnt make any difference. It isnt advertised to have aircon so my fault but just a warning if going in hot months you will not sleep!

It is a lovely family run hotel situated in a very good location. Montecatini is a beautiful city to stay in, and moreover it's not far from other beautiful cities such as Florence, Pisa and Lucca. The staff are very helpful, kind and attentive to your every need. They are very friendly and make you feel at home. Moreover the rooms are spacious and everywhere is kept very clean. The buffet breakfast is also very good and the price is very good value for money.
