Antica Locanda - Guest House

Stayed here one night after booking on hotels.com. The building itself was really cool, in fact the whole town was really nice. The town is loaded with little eateries and cheese shops. We were upgraded to a big room on the top floor which had a lovely view. The room itself was big but awkward because of the slope of the roof line. No big deal though. Tiny little shower. Also no problem. The only problem I would foresee is someone with mobility problems as the stairs are very long and steep. This is probably noted elsewhere for people to be aware of the stairs but otherwise the stay was perfectly acceptable.

We stayed here for one night in june 2017. The staff was great. We were offered a free upgrade to a bigger room. The room was very nice with great views of the surrounding tuscan hills. Bathroom was great too. There is a free public parking nearby. The only downside was the breakfast wich was was very poor.

This is a cute B&B in a cool historic building. The rooms have nice antique furniture and are spacious as is the bathroom. Pienza is a charming town with breathtaking views. The service we received at this hotel was outstanding. Carla called us the day we checked-in to inquire about our arrival time to make sure everything would be ready when we got there. She was friendly and helpful in providing information about the town and local restaurants. We were greeted the next morning with the most divine smelling fresh baked pastries prepared by Maria, who was both delightful and attentive. The entire staff made us feel at home. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Carla and Maria for a wonderful visit.
