Hotel Palazzo dei Priori

Going from a 4-star in Mantua to this was a shock. The gentleman at the reception was very kind, but the property is old, the fridge was not working, the bathroom fan was not working, the light over the mirror was not working, the light facing outside was not working, and the beds were very uncomfortable. It was a terrible experience!

Reading some negative reviews makes me laugh. Strategically located hotel with free parking. Rooms yes a bit old, but absolutely clean and warm. Staff very kind and attentive to every request, breakfast really great with fresh produce and waiters super nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel from 24 to 26 April 2026. Very dirty, neglected, scruffy, very poor breakfast. Experience not to be repeated. In Siena there are much better facilities with lower prices
