Very comfortable accommodation. Great heating and wi fi very fast. The memory mattress a pleasant surprise. Kettle in the room very welcome especially in the evening. Many types of herbal teas, teas and coffees are available. The property located very well, parking 300 meters , free and walk 5 minutes to get to the Duomo

Unfortunately I cannot describe my experience as positive. The main problem I encountered in the two nights at this accommodation was the cold: the first evening I stayed there I returned to the room around 7.30pm and the heating was completely off... In December... Unfortunately this shouldn't happen! I reported the problem and around 8.30pm they started turning it on... Despite this, the room struggled to heat up. Moral of the story I can't say I slept warm either of the two nights. I also found it inconvenient to pay on the other side of Siena.

We chose this apartment because it was listed in Rick Steves's book. The courtyard, location and value for money are indeed benefits to this apartment. However, my father stayed in the bottom floor apartment and there was mildew/mold on the walls, and it smelled of mold when we opened it. We tried to communicate the problem to the caretaker, but because of the language barrier it was difficult, and she walked away. The upper apartment is fine, and the peace and tranquility is lovely, hence the average rating. The bottom apartment definitely should not be rented out until the health hazard is addressed.
