More Di Cuna

It is an outdated facility and, moreover, poorly maintained. Little attention to detail. It should be modernized and CLEANED. Cobwebs everywhere, even in the breakfast room; the exterior is neglected, the garden has tall grass (a shame because there are some pleasant tables). From our room, the view looked out onto the main high-traffic road, which was sad; obviously not specified during the booking phase. The room: dated with a hodgepodge of styles. The neon light in the bathroom, straight out of an 80s motel, is terribly matched with the wood of the furniture. The bathroom is old, the shower completely needs to be redone, with dirty glass; I seriously feared that cockroaches would come out. Toilet paper roll found half-used and therefore not new and not wrapped as one would expect for hygiene. Soap dish made of old metal, stained by time. Broken minibar; I had to throw away the food I had placed inside. Let’s move on to the most interesting part: the soundproofing of the rooms is nonexistent!!! In the room next door, people were staying who during the night were “very busy” with moans, screams, and whatnot… with the attached bathroom fan that does not turn off until a few minutes (at least 10) after the entrance light is turned off. To avoid hearing the embarrassing noises we turned on the TV, but the remote control had dead batteries and we could not do anything (the reception is closed at night). We put our faith in the breakfast. Ugh… sad, continental, and impersonal. An affront to the pleasure of the Tuscan tradition. Poor quality cold cuts, nothing homemade, except for some good jams without added sugars; I even had to ask for sparkling water separately because the dispenser (yes, drinks like juices were dispensed from the machine) did not have any available. Coffee and cappuccino always from the dispenser. Not even extra plates to take food from the buffet were made available. The one on the table had to be enough. Ugh! In short, NEVER AGAIN. Cold staff. Even when faced with my complaint, they only said “we are sorry.” Truly embarrassing value for money.

Lovely hotel, clean tidy, food great, breakfast outstanding, service faultless, couldn't do enough for us and good value too

We stayed for 2 days. It is a cozy hotel in Tuscany. The staff is very friendly. The room is a bit small but clean. The only thing is the restaurant was closed and the breakfast, in my opinion, was a bit scarce. A toaster would also be nice. Otherwise, it was good.
