Only for a family dinner on the advice of friends. Very beautiful relais in terms of structure and location. Restaurant not up to par, both in terms of table service and food preparation.

An experience not to be repeated I must state that we are not in the habit of writing negative reviews; however, when faced with such a lack of respect and transparency, we believe it is a clear duty to warn other travelers so that they can spend their money in one of the many wonderful establishments that Tuscany offers. For us, Monteriggioni is a magical place, one of a kind. Seeing the experience tarnished by such poor management leaves us with deep regret. Here are the detailed facts of our stay: 1. **The \"subsequent\" services trap:** It is too convenient to show services included or available on Booking only to send a message with all the restrictions and conditions *only after* the customer has already made the non-refundable payment. For example, the e-bikes? Usable only for stays of more than one day. Did it seem bad to write it clearly on the site beforehand? 2. **The shell game (and indifference) at the reception:** Upon our arrival (7:00 PM), the guy at the reception assured us that the next day, after check-out, we could have used the pool for a supplement of €25 *per room*. The next morning, a girl at the reception informed us that the rate had magically become €25 *per person*. A total lack of professionalism and respect. 3. **Embarrassing breakfast for those with intolerances:** Having a lactose intolerance, I kindly asked the breakfast attendant if there were alternatives suitable for me. I was looked at as if I were an alien, without receiving the slightest help or an alternative option. In an agriturismo that boasts four stars, the total absence of options for food intolerances — combined with the total lack of empathy and courtesy in the face of a gastrointestinal issue — is a reflection of a management that is twenty years behind. 4. **State of the \"Spa\" and hygiene:** The sauna was completely turned off and unusable. The jacuzzi was in pitiful condition, visibly neglected and in a state of total abandonment that invited one to stay away (we documented the state of the relaxation area with photos). 5. **The rooms:** Absolutely normal, lacking that level of comfort or service that one would expect from a property that charges for certain standards. This property deserves a zero for how it manages the customer. If you are looking for true Tuscan hospitality, cleanliness, and respect for those who travel, look elsewhere. Avoid Castel Bigozzi.

A highly successful surprise party and a perfect stay! We organized a beautiful surprise party bringing the whole family together halfway, between those coming from Milan, those from Naples, and those from Romagna. A special thanks goes to Nausicaa, who was very kind and extremely professional, helping us perfect every little detail in the weeks leading up through emails and WhatsApp. The stay was extremely pleasant for both adults and children: the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the entire facility is well-maintained and cared for. The dining experience was also excellent, with food and wine satisfying in both quality and generous portion sizes. We are truly excited and completely satisfied!
