Al Pozzo Dei Desideri Rooms

We loved our room overlooking the piazza, modern fittings in an old building. Great for people watching all times of the day, quiet evenings and for us the mattress was ok so sleeping was good and I’ve got back problems so it’s a personal thing.. Yes air-con was noisy though why not open the window instead for the evening air, we do it at home all the time and it saves the environment as well! Limited hours for staff; hey only 3 rooms, expectations for some are far too high, member of staff was warm, friendly and extremely helpful about info around the local area. Great recommendations especially for a restaurant we tried just outside the city walls. We paid half the price, you normally do inside the walls; service and food was equally good as well.

A beautiful, surprisingly quiet given the central location, calm and comfortable room. Great bed, great shower, spacious and homely. What cannot be missed though is the view from the window- simply phenomenal

Stayed for one night in February and really enjoyed the place. The location is wonderful - right on one of the main squares (and across from the famous Dondoli gelato :)). We had a room overlooking the square and our room was spacious, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is in the old building but the shower and all the amenities were modern and top-notch. Reception is open only for a few hours every day, but the owner left us keys and a list of wonderful recommendations and tips. Lovely historic place just keep in mind there is no elevator (there are a few stairs up) and there is no parking in the city center (but the hotel sends you a pass to drive into the town to drop off the luggage).
