Torre Dei Serviti

Undoubtedly beautiful period residence with a touch of modernity. Refined furnishings and slightly strong but well-made combinations. But bad on breakfast and cleanliness. We had the suite in the tower. Let's start from the bathroom: broken soap dish and towel holder, evident limescale on the sink wall, very dusty mirrors, shower head partially working due to the presence of limestone obstructions. Holey towels. Let's move on to breakfast: it seems that with the variety and elegant arrangement of things they want to disguise the fact that they are all ready and packaged products. You can't see cured meats in Tuscany, scrambled eggs are ok but pan balleto is cold, there's no toaster to heat it. Zero presence of gluten-free products, 3 classic supermarket cakes, lactose-free, I only found oat and soy milk. Manager essentially absent because after more than 30min it turns out we were unable to ask for a second coffee. In such a rich region one expects much more, especially given the cost of the room which we remember was a suite. Just a few small adjustments and it would really be the best.

We were here for the second time within three months and I'm sorry but unfortunately I have to confirm the initial impression: very beautiful period location, but equally neglected in details such as cleanliness, quality of towels, quality of breakfast, comparable to a hotel 2 stars. Packaged products, from discount stores, burnt toast, dried scrambled eggs, puff pastries clearly from the day before. The shower was not working, only the hand shower and there were obvious signs of limescale in the shower and other parts of the bathroom. It's a shame because the structure is a 4 star. I wonder if every now and then those who assign these scores then consider a future reconsideration.

Overall, our experience at Torre dei Serviti was nothing short of a huge disappointment. The lack of cleanliness, poor room condition, and dismissive staff made for an unpleasant and frustrating stay. I would strongly advise against considering this hotel for your accommodation and look for better options in the area.
