It is a splendid large ancient villa, a historic residence, right in the middle of Chianti.
The reception is a bit too small and cramped for welcoming guests, but the staff is very courteous and available for any needs.
Several well-kept and elegant areas are available for reading, playing billiards, watching TV, having a drink, or simply chatting.
Our room was a spacious Country Prestige with a bedroom area, a huge bathroom, and a space to use as a walk-in closet. Everything was very comfortable and welcoming except for a couple of details: there was no mirror (preferably large) in the room (only present in the bathroom) and the TV's position was not comfortable for viewing (even though we did not turn it on).
The breakfast was good for both savory and sweet options and pleasant to enjoy outdoors while also taking in a beautiful view of the countryside.
The outdoor pool is not too large but beautiful and well-equipped with loungers.
A very pleasant experience.
