Ac Pisa

I booked 1 night in this hotel outside the city, but it is new and very clean. The staff is kind and polite. Unfortunately, the walls were not built to soundproof the rooms, and on the night I stayed, my neighbors had a party all night, and I did not sleep a wink. I also informed the reception, but my complaints were in vain. It would have been sufficient to move the noisy guests to another room or remind them to respect the rules of good manners. It was not so. For this reason, I give a rating of 2 to this establishment.

Lots of wear and tear on cupboards and other furniture, both in the room (e.g. bedside table with pieces out) and in the dining room. The mattress of the bed was worn. It wasn't dirty there but it all looked so poor because of worn out and not refurbished. For example, a chair with a loose backrest in the dining room, visible stains of leakage in the ceiling where breakfast is served and in the entrance hall. A rotten plinth in the ladies' room. Breakfast was adequately good and the staff was fortunately very forthcoming!

Booked a room for my family using points and were welcomed as substandard guests looking for a freebie. Super unpleasant experience at check-in…teased that the upgrade could be revoked “if the hotel wants to” because the Bonvoy member was not present at check in despite the other (adult) guests being listed on the reservation as authorized to check in. Breakfast was denied despite being a Titanium member, and I had to call Marriott Global Customer Service to get them to talk some sense into their colleagues at this hotel. To add insult to injury, they revoked the already-approved late check out…all because the Bonvoy member wasn’t there but had authorized everything in advance. Family moved to a Hilton hotel in another nearby city and was welcomed as family…used Hilton Honor points and there were absolutely NO issues with checking in and other program benefits. Stay away from the AC Hotel in Pisa until someone teaches them how to treat loyal Marriott Bonvoy members (and people in general).
