Art Hotel Giardino

The air conditioning was centralized and you could not regulate it. The highest it reached was 38 degrees in the middle of August. We asked for a fan and they provided one at the front desk. It does not have an elevator. The best part is that it is next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and you can see it when there are almost no tourists left at sunrise or sunset because you are right next to it.

Good location, next door really, to the leaning tower. 20 Minutes walk to the train station. Nice outside area, perfect for short stay.

I read some of the negative reviews before coming out and was a little concerned, but I needn't have worried. Yes the hotel is dated, there were road works going on outside and it's next to a busy road, BUT it was spotlessly clean with friendly staff, in very close proximity to the tower etc. The price we paid was very good value for money and we got what we paid for. We're the sort of travellers who want a clean comfy bed for the night and don't tend to spend much time in the hotel. This hotel and the staff served us well. It isn't like the promotional photo's look, but it was close enough and I didn't really expect it to be like that, based on the price we paid. Would probably stay there again if we were to return.
