Stayed here for a night to visit the sites of Pisa, this place was perfect, free parking and a short walk to the tourist attractions. Checkin is online, so you need Internet before hand. Yana was helpful to talk through the process.

You can find much better place to stay for the money asked. This is just a hostel with mold in the shower and common toilet for all the rooms. It was not clear from the description, otherwise we would never stop here. The street is very busy at night and you will not be able to get a decent sleep. Walls are so thin, that you can hear everything is the corridor. To avoid.

The place is nice and very clean. However, we didn’t like what happened for the check-in. Check-in needs to be done online just before our arrival. If not, your booking will be cancelled. You need to get Internet and not miss their emails which are sent the day before your arrival and the day itself. Might be an exception but I usually don’t use my 3G Internet when I am abroad but I had used it exceptionally at that time. If not, I would have missed them. On this online checkin process, the landlords make very clear that you are not allowed to check in and check out outside the defined hours. We arrived before the checkin time BUT we didn’t have any intention to get in. We just thought we had a look at where the place was so we could easily get there later. We ignored at that time that the check in was made through a connected door that we needed to activate online. So, when we were next to the door, a man inside the side garden came to us with a very bad look. Seemed like he was ready to send dogs to attack us. I understood what the problem was (he thought we were trying to get in) and I said hello but I didn’t get any reply. We left and to be honest, even if I hadn’t done anything wrong, I was nervous about coming back. We eventually never saw them again as we triggered the door opening ourselves by using their online system. I didn’t feel comfortable during the stay because of that. I guess there is people who try to get in earlier but it was not our case. The time we passed by, we didn’t even know that the door opening had to be done online. I think they should not be welcoming anyone if they suspect all their guests this way.
