Miravalle Palace Hotel

The Hotel San Miniato enjoys a truly wonderful location in the heart of a fantastic village and is housed within a historic building of great charm. However, the experience in the room and the service offerings are unfortunately not in line with what one would expect from a property of this category. The room furnishings appear rather dated and worn, lacking the attention to detail one would expect: the room is a bit dark due to the lack of a central light source (only three bedside lamps are present), practical elements like a full-length mirror are missing, and some exposed electrical conduits are visible at the entrance. The windowless bathroom is served by a fairly noisy fan. As for rest, the pillows and bed linens deserve higher quality to ensure a truly comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast is also very basic and is served in the restaurant dining room, a space that would need more attention to detail and cleanliness to be more welcoming. It is truly a shame, because the property has enormous potential: with an adequate renovation of the rooms and greater attention to detail, it could become a real jewel. At the moment, however, the expectations do not fully reflect what is presented.

Perfect getaway-holiday. Stayed in Hotel Miravalle for 4 nights in May 2026. Location is stunning, the village is peaceful and had all the services we needed. The staff was very helpulf, room was clean and got clean towels every day. We did appreciate that the sheets weren't changed every day, because you won't change them every day at your home either and it saves environment. Breakfast wasn't a huge variety but food allergies were noticed well with the helpful stuff and we got all we needed from the breakfast. Nothing but good to say from this hotel.

The experience was not positive. The room was large and spacious, but, the next day, to our surprise, breakfast was not served: the entrance to the room, which was for 7.30 was impossible because it was closed. We waited until 8.30, in vain, and then we left because at 8.30 we had the bus to Florence. The receptionist tried to contact someone by phone, but in vain: then, he never saw again. In conclusion, we left at 8.30 without being able to have breakfast.
