Podere il Poggiolo

have traveled extensively throughout Italy and across the globe, but our five-night stay with Alessandro and Serena was something truly apart. From the moment we arrived, their warmth made us feel less like tourists and more like welcomed guests. The location is stunning, perched atop a mountain with views that take your breath away—but the real magic is what happens to your spirit while you're there. It’s the kind of place that makes you realize you’ve been navigating the world with your shoulders up to your ears; suddenly, you can just breathe and let everything go. The food is a revelation. Every day, they serve home-cooked meals made with fresh ingredients straight from the farm. Honestly, the quality surpassed any restaurant we’ve visited. While this isn’t a "5-star luxury hotel" in the traditional sense, the experience is far richer and more meaningful. We left feeling completely renewed.

Serena and Alessandro were amazing hosts! They are so welcoming and hard working. Definitely eat all the meals at the farm! The food was the best we had during two weeks in Italy. Rooms

Beautiful place. An infinite thanks to Serena and Alessandro who hosted us. Serena is great. She has golden hands. The cuisine is as fantastic as the delicious gluten free. We will definitely be back ❤️
